My name is Anne DeLong. I’m 18 years old and studying Letters and International Studies at the University of Oklahoma. My real home lies about two hours northeast of Norman in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Growing up in Tulsa proved to be one of the best things that happened to me, because there I was surrounded by a unique mix of local art, downtown jazz concerts, and art deco buildings that formed my love of culture at a young age. My passions include singing, acting, photography, and browsing Tumblr. Here at the University, I am able to indulge these passions of mine in Singing Sooners and my sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, which has opened up fun theatrical opportunities like University Sing and Scandals. And of course, I’m able to further expand my love of culture and the unknown thanks to the Global Engagement Fellows program.
